How to endorse Plan & Connect when you have an NDIS plan
If your NDIS plan is on PACE (the NDIA’s new computer system) you have to endorse your plan manager or support coordinator. This simply means you need to tell the NDIA who you have chosen to provide these services for you.
There are two ways you can endorse Plan & Connect:
Option 1 – via the NDIA
Contact the NDIA National Call Centre on 1800 800 110 and advise that you would like to endorse Plan & Connect as your plan manager or support coordinator (or both, if you are using us for both).
Option 2 – via your Local Area Coordinator or Planner
Contact your Local Area Coordinator or Planner to advise that you would like to endorse Plan & Connect as your plan manager or support coordinator (or both, if you are using us for both).
Important to know first!
Whichever way you choose to endorse Plan & Connect, make sure that you:
- Use the start date of your current plan as the start date of your endorsement
- Ask the person on the phone to confirm that they have completed the endorsement
If you already have a support coordinator, you cannot ask them to endorse Plan & Connect on your behalf. You have to do this yourself. However, you can ask them to organise a conference call with the NDIA or your LAC/Planner and they will help you through the process.
What to say when you call
Here is an example of what you can say. You don’t have to follow this exact script, but it’s a helpful guide.
Hi,
I am calling to endorse a [plan manager/support coordinator/both] for my current plan.
I’m a [participant/plan nominee] and my NDIS number is [your NDIS number].
I would like to endorse Plan & Connect as my [plan manager/support coordinator/both] for my NDIS plan. Plan & Connect’s provider number is 4050033747.
Please endorse Plan & Connect from [plan start date], which is the start date of my current plan.
Can you please confirm for me that the endorsement is complete?
Thank you.
What if I’m already with Plan & Connect and I’m starting a new plan? Will I need to endorse?
Your NDIS contact will call you before your plan’s end date to discuss your situation and yes, you will need to advise that you would like to endorse Plan & Connect again as your plan manager/support coordinator/both.
Make sure to tell your NDIS contact that you would like to endorse Plan & Connect as your ongoing plan manager/support coordinator/both.
